Brevis
Treble cornett in G
Adjusted design by Patrik Sabo
The Brevis is a design derived from the historical SAM230 original cornett, adapted to align with modern standards. The process involved proportionally repositioning tone holes, slight shortening of the foot, thinning the walls for enhanced resonance, and rescaling the instrument for standard pitches. The combination of the slim bore design and thin walls gives the instrument a small and light appearance. It is available in both the original
465 Hz and rescaled 440 Hz, as well as other pitches upon request.
